Job Summary
Plan and supervise industrial projects from start to finish, organizing construction management processes and overseeing subcontract issuance and purchase orders. Manage daily on-site activities including coordination, scheduling, material requisitioning, and cost control while maintaining financial status through effective reporting and change management. Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors to meet schedule milestones, recognize key issues to expedite solutions, and conduct regular meetings with clients and personnel. Represent the organization professionally with external consultants and optimize productivity using project management software and BIM tools.
Required Qualifications
- Civil or Mechanical engineering background (Degree or diploma from an accredited institution)
- Minimum (15) years' experience working as a project manager in the general contracting or construction management sector
- Industrial project management experience
- Proficient experience with Microsoft Project, Project cost control software and project management software
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lead a construction management team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with individuals of various disciplines
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with BIM and 3D model use
