Job Summary
Lead OR renovation and new construction projects from quote through customer sign-off, developing scopes, budgets, and schedules while managing contractor relationships. Oversee demolition, site preparation, and installation readiness, coordinating with architects, facility leaders, and healthcare stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Drive planning, risk mitigation, and vendor management to ensure deliveries meet time, budget, and quality standards. Requires 6+ years of construction project management experience and the ability to resolve complex issues independently. This field-based role involves 60% travel and supports Stryker's mission to improve patient and hospital outcomes through innovative medical technology solutions.
Required Qualifications
- B.B.A or B.S in business or related curriculum
- 6+ of related experience required
- Must be able to resolve complex issues of a broad scope using independent judgment
- Must be able to routinely make decisions which affect immediate operations and may have a division-wide effect
- Must be able to communicate with others in large groups and virtually
- Must be able to drive an automobile
- Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Travel Percentage: 60%
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Experience managing construction projects, renovations, remodels, or capital projects
- Proven success overseeing contractors, construction scopes, demolition/tear-down activities, and project execution
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
