Senior Project Manager - Operational Finance

Job Summary
Lead a project team delivering the end-to-end Target Operating Model transition for Operational Finance across the Nordic region, covering Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, VAT, and Record-to-Report processes. Own project planning, risk management, governance, and stakeholder engagement to ensure timely delivery aligned with strategic objectives. Collaborate deeply with finance functions, IT, business units, and external partners to drive process standardization, automation, and financial governance improvements. Facilitate change management and capability-building activities while acting as a mentor to other project managers within the Strategy Execution portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on project management experience
- Experience driving high-impact finance transformation programs
- Direct experience in Target Operating Model transitions
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to break down complex projects into ambitious milestones and actionable project plans
- Structured and proactive approach
- Ability to identify potential risks and work with project team to suggest mitigating actions to executive leadership
- Influential leadership in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Confidence to engage senior executives and operational teams alike
- Skilled communicator and motivator
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in a Scandinavian language (Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian)
- Education in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
