Job Summary
Senior Project Manager (Onsite) to lead design and construction document development for industrial manufacturing projects in Chandler, AZ. Responsibilities include conducting bid walks in-field with customers and trade/design partners, communicating scopes, timelines and deliverables to the design team, driving the design phase from funding through Issue for Construction and the SDC/CA phase through final redline, coordinating with BIM modelers and field technicians, issuing subcontracts and purchase orders, preparing pay applications, tracking project documents and finances, and ensuring safety/compliance with EHS requirements. Requires on-site presence, 3+ years of PM experience on design projects, and strong proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and Bluebeam. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture (or related field) preferred; PMP certification and semiconductor/manufacturing or R&D experience are a plus. All roles are in-office with no hybrid/remote accommodations; local candidates or those willing to relocate to Metro Phoenix area only.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 3 years+ of project management experience on design projects
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks/AutoCAD (preferred for BIM)
- Experience leading in-person meetings and field walks
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage design and construction phases, coordination with internal/external teams
- Knowledge of BIM modeling scopes and LOD
- Understanding of design and construction specifications
- Experience with pay applications and contract management
