Job Summary
Senior Project Manager – Nuclear responsible for planning, executing and delivering high-quality engineering and technical consulting services for nuclear power projects within Hatch’s Power Business Unit. Lead studies and projects for clients, interface and report to clients, monitor and manage budgets and schedules, mentor junior staff in nuclear engineering design, support regional delivery and business development, review/approve technical deliverables, manage proposal processes (RFPs/EOIs/RFQs), and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and Hatch processes. Requires strong project management, client engagement, and leadership capabilities, with ability to coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams and travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree from a recognized college
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience within the nuclear power industry
- Experience with light water reactors and advanced reactor designs
- Experience in a consulting engineering environment
- Ability to manage and motivate individuals to attain deliverables
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Track record of delivering projects on time and to budget
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience within organizations and teams
