Job Summary

Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and objectives for complex telecommunications infrastructure supporting broadband deployment. Lead cross-functional teams to design, procure, deliver, install, and commission Central Office power, IP, transport, and voice infrastructure while ensuring operational readiness. Coordinate resources with internal departments, vendors, contractors, and government entities to achieve project targets safely, on schedule, and within budget. Manage project budgets, track expenses, forecast costs, and optimize financial performance across large-scale initiatives. Participate fully in organizational health and safety programs, adhering to all safe work practices and completing required training.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or a related field
  • Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
  • Proven track record with at least 3-5 years of experience leading complex, cross-functional projects, ideally in the telecommunications industry, delivering large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Program management experience
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with strong analytical abilities
  • Business acumen and financial analysis skills derived from managing project P&Ls, cost-benefit analyses, business cases, budget forecasting, CapEx/OpEx planning, and ROI tracking
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to drive favorable agreements, resolve conflicts, and influence outcomes in business, vendor, and stakeholder discussions
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as MS Project/Planner/Teams/Excel
  • Participation in organizational health and safety programs, adhering to all safe work practices and procedures
  • Completion of Accident Prevention Program (APP's) training
  • Completion of Code of Business Conduct (CoBC) training
  • Completion of all other Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training
  • Timely completion of all administrative tasks including time reporting, expense reporting and submission of corporate card statements

Desired Qualifications

  • Program management experience would be considered an asset
