Job Summary
Senior Project Manager:NASAH to join AECOM in Dublin. Responsible for acting as the Contracting Entity’s representative, managing a portfolio of capital projects and noise insulation programmes related to airport operations—from initial planning and design through to handover. Oversees delivery of infrastructure, buildings, and environmental improvement initiatives, including residential and community noise insulation schemes, ensuring alignment with employer requirements, environmental commitments, and wider corporate objectives. Leads a team of Project Managers, providing technical, commercial, and contractual guidance, maintaining detailed resource plans, and delivering performance reports. Attends site four days per week with one remote day, coordinating with the Airport Transformation Manager, NEC/FIDIC contract knowledge, risk management, change control, and design review processes. Requires extensive construction/infrastructure experience (15+ years), live airport environment exposure, and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, with strong stakeholder management and governance capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience within the construction and infrastructure sector, including involvement in aviation and/or other comparable projects of similar scale and complexity
- Strong understanding of working within a live airport operational environment, with due consideration for operational, safety, and stakeholder requirements
- Demonstrated site-based project delivery experience, with a practical understanding of on-site construction management activities in addition to office-based responsibilities
- Proven experience in developing and documenting construction project management best practices, policies, procedures, and delivery standards
- Established track record of successfully delivering construction and asset delivery projects on schedule and within approved budget parameters
- Experience acting in the role of a client-side Project Manager, managing delivery on behalf of the contracting or asset-owning organisation
- Strong stakeholder management capability, with experience engaging and influencing stakeholders at all organisational levels to support process improvement and effective project delivery
- Managing a significant multidisciplinary team across multiple concurrent projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to govern and drive outcomes to ensure project outputs that meet required standards
- Knowledge of NEC and FIDIC suite of contracts
