Job Summary
Direct and manage design and construction of correctional facilities, ensuring on-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations. Develop and oversee project scope, goals, budgets, and schedules; coordinate engineering/technical aspects with procurement and construction activities. Establish and monitor Project Management Plans, Health and Safety Plans, and QA/QC processes; define requirements for project deliverables and supervise execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions. Collaborate with education management to develop budgets and plans, lead negotiations with regulatory agencies and participate in public meetings, and manage actions to address cost overruns or scope changes. Ensure timely change orders are documented and administered, and support performance reviews and development plans for subordinates. Participate in labor relations, procurement, and related activities as required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in project management within construction or facilities management
- Senior-level project leadership experience
- Ability to manage design and construction of facilities, including budget and scheduling
- Experience developing and implementing Project Management Plans, Health and Safety Plans, and QA/QC processes
- Experience negotiating with regulatory agencies and handling change orders
