Senior Project Manager – MEP Systems

Job Summary
Lead end-to-end MEP project management across preconstruction, construction, and closeout phases for large-scale commercial projects. Own MEP budgets, cost forecasting, change order management, and schedule oversight while driving subcontractor procurement, contract negotiation, and performance management. Serve as the primary MEP point of contact for owners, architects, and engineers to lead technical meetings and facilitate design resolution. Review scopes of work, submittals, RFIs, and construction documents for compliance, and oversee commissioning planning and execution. Manage project documentation and reporting to ensure accurate communication with stakeholders, while mentoring field MEP Managers and junior staff. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 10+ years of progressive MEP experience, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and BIM tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Construction Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience managing MEP systems on large-scale commercial construction projects
- demonstrated track record at the senior project management level
- Deep technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building controls systems
- ability to lead design and coordination discussions at the project leadership level
- Proven experience managing MEP budgets, subcontractor contracts, and multidisciplinary project teams
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of a project
