Job Summary
Oversee the overall project direction for large, complex MEP projects, including planning, budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling to ensure timely and cost-effective outcomes. Manage the transition from estimate/pre-construction to construction, overseeing design management and bid protection. Direct the assembly of Project Management Teams and supervise the installation, coordination, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Ensure all projects are constructed safely, ethically, and in compliance with federal, state, and local laws while maintaining strong relationships with MEP subcontractors and vendors. This role supports Skanska's mission to build for a better society through sustainable solutions in education, infrastructure, and healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years proven track record of assuring client satisfaction
- 6+ years track record of delivering on-time MEP projects
- managing MEP subcontractor and vendor relationships
- 6+ years creating and maintaining a culture of safety
- 6+ years experience developing a culture of quality assurance and control
- 6+ years' experience managing the installation, coordination, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- 6+ years managing and developing succesful teams
- Bachelor's Degree – Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience
- Working knowledge of MEP systems, applicable codes, industry standards, and construction best practices
