Job Summary
Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets while managing timelines to ensure goals are achieved within allocated time frames and financial constraints. Coordinate project teams including engineers, architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders to maintain quality standards throughout the lifecycle of metal architectural products. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders regularly, developing mitigation plans for potential challenges. Manage project changes and scope impacts, ensuring documentation is complete and deliverables exceed customer expectations. Collaborate with sales to align expectations and work with finance teams to maintain accurate project financials. Continuously evaluate processes to identify and implement improvements for increased efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Post Secondary degree/diploma in Business, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years' experience in project management with a multi material manufacturing background
- Knowledge of architectural design, engineering, and construction processes
- Knowledge of wood, metal, and other materials manufacturing processes
- Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and team members
- Motivated self-starter who takes initiative and is driven to surpass goals
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to manage project budgets and expenses
- Ability to travel as needed to project sites
- Valid drivers license
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in project management software, Smartsheet or working towards a PMP designation would be considered an asset
