Job Summary
Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale capital construction programs in Los Angeles, CA. Oversees multiple complex projects, manages project teams including OARs, and ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with District standards. Plays a key leadership role in program delivery, contract administration, dispute resolution, and stakeholder coordination across multiple districts and departments. Requires proven experience in scheduling, cost control, and procurement processes, with track record overseeing budgets and coordinating cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
- 12 years of full-time project or construction management experience
- Minimum 5 years managing large programs with projects exceeding $50M in construction value
- 5 years of experience in educational facilities, public works, or large commercial construction projects
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- Expertise in scheduling, cost control, and contract administration
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential (preferred/advantageous)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred/advantageous)
- LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) (preferred/advantageous)
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification (preferred/advantageous)
