Job Summary
Senior Project Manager for Life Science design and construction projects, serving as the primary interface with clients and leading cross-functional teams of architects, engineers, and contractors through strategic planning, design, and build-out of facilities, with responsibilities spanning program conformance, procurement, budgets, schedules, and client communications. The role emphasizes ownership of project outcomes, coordination of design and construction activities, value-engineering coordination with the owner, and proactive management of risks and changes to ensure successful project delivery across PMA’s client portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in the real estate design and construction industry, including Life Sciences and/or Mission Critical projects, with deep expertise in MEP systems coordination, integration, and delivery
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Urban Planning, Real Estate Finance, or related field
- Experience as an Owner’s Representative or Project Manager representing fiduciary interests of the real estate developer or investor
- Involvement and leadership with master planning, budgeting, schematic design, design development, and construction documents phases, and construction/transition planning to build/project activation
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients and other construction-related and business professionals
- Knowledge of project controls, project management, construction documentation, sequencing
- Knowledge of alternate materials/methods; construction costs, value-engineering techniques, Building/Occupancy laws and lease requirements
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects; meet or exceed client expectations and timelines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project); AutoCAD is desired
