Job Summary
Conduct project design, permitting, and calculations for land development initiatives including commercial, residential, and utility work. Manage communication with project teams, clients, and agencies while ensuring compliance with FDEP, WMD, and local codes. Perform site visits as needed and attend external meetings. Requires Florida PE License, 8+ years land development engineering experience, and 3+ years project management experience. Weekend, overtime, and overnight travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years land development engineering experience
- Minimum of 3 years project management experience
- Bachelor's degree in civil or agricultural engineering
- Florida PE License
- Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D
- Stormwater and utility experience
- Must pass mandatory DMV check
- Must be able to carry, lift and push/pull up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to walk over rough and uneven terrain and be able to stand up to 10-12 hours a day on occasion
- Must have the ability to see, smell, hear, talk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel and twist, crouch, crawl, reach, grasp, sit, stand, and walk
- Weekend and overtime work and/or overnight work and travel may be required
