Job Summary
Direct, oversee, and coordinate team activities in the Construction Management and General Contracting marketplace. Assist in proposal writing, review project proposals and drawings to determine timeframes, funding limitations, and staffing requirements, and coordinate pre-construction services. Lead strategic planning, business development, and client relations while managing project managers to ensure timely completion and profitability. Review project costs and forecasts to track progress toward goals, prepare status reports for management and clients, and modify schedules as needed. Establish networks with vendors and subcontractors, collaborate with marketing to sell capabilities, and coordinate with regulatory agencies and finance teams to maintain budget adherence. Confers with staff to outline work plans, assign duties, and provide technical advice to resolve problems, all in compliance with the KA Project Managers' Manual.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from four year college/university or equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years related work experience
- Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook) and knowledge of project management software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals
- Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Ability to possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others
- Valid Driver's License, ability to maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record, and ability to adhere to the KA Motor Vehicle Policy
- Travel 25-75%; depending on job
- Lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
Desired Qualifications
- Four year degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related degree
- Knowledge of ViewPoint software
