Job Summary
Direct project proposals, coordinate pre-construction services, and lead business development to secure client relationships and build vendor networks. Review project activities, costs, and forecasts to ensure team progress toward goals and profitability. Manage project managers, assign duties, and resolve technical problems while maintaining strict adherence to the Project Managers' Manual. Provide daily schedule support, prepare reports for management and clients, and coordinate with governmental agencies and the finance team. Confers with project staff to outline work plans and preserve the contract schedule within budget.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from four year college/university or equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years related work experience
- Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook) and knowledge of project management software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals
- Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Ability to possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others
- Valid Driver's License, ability to maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record, and ability to adhere to the KA Motor Vehicle Policy
- Travel 25-75%; depending on job
- Lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
Desired Qualifications
- Four year degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related degree
- Knowledge of ViewPoint software
