Job Summary
Lead complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation, partnering with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to define scope, timelines, and execution strategies. Develop integrated project plans, executive dashboards, and status reports to provide visibility into health, risks, and resource requirements while proactively identifying and mitigating challenges before they impact delivery. Establish and reinforce Project Management Office standards, governance, and best practices, coaching Project Managers to strengthen organizational capabilities and continuous improvement. Ensure all initiatives comply with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices. Manage multiple concurrent initiatives with a high degree of autonomy, requiring regular onsite presence and occasional travel to support cross-functional teams and business operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Eight (8) or more years of progressive project management experience
- Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation
- Strong leadership, influence, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced proficiency with project management tools, scheduling software, portfolio reporting, and project governance
- Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
- Regular onsite presence
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives while meeting aggressive business timelines
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) environments
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies, including Scrum and hybrid delivery approaches
- Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated experience applying structured problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience leading capital projects, operational transformation initiatives, technology transfers, or new product introductions
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence without direct authority
- Advanced proficiency using project and portfolio management software such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Planview, or similar platforms
- Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, balance competing priorities, and drive decision-making across multiple stakeholders
- Experience developing or improving Project Management Office (PMO) governance, standards, and business processes
