Job Summary
Establish governance, standards, and lifecycle processes for the Planning, Design & Construction capital project portfolio. Lead development and continuous improvement of project delivery methodologies, defining stage-gates, readiness criteria, and standardized workflows. Oversee enterprise project controls functions including estimating, cost management, scheduling, forecasting, and change control while partnering with Finance, Procurement, Legal, and other stakeholders. Manage portfolio performance reporting, dashboards, and KPIs to support executive decision-making. Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team responsible for delivery standards, analytics, and reporting excellence. Drive department-wide transformation initiatives focused on operational excellence and technology adoption.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in capital project delivery, construction program management, project controls, or related fields
- Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and governing project delivery standards, PMO functions, or project controls frameworks
- Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday – Friday
- Location: Hybrid (3x a week on site); 885 Third Avenue, New York, NY
- Reporting To: Director, Design and Construction
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting complex healthcare, academic, research, or institutional environments
- Project management certification such as PMP, CCM, or equivalent
- Additional professional certifications in cost engineering, scheduling, sustainability, or related disciplines (AACE, PSP, LEED, WELL, etc.)
