Job Summary
Senior Project Manager to lead capital and operational projects in highly regulated industrial environments, delivering end-to-end project execution from initiation through handover. Responsibilities include developing and managing budgets, schedules, and resource plans; ensuring regulatory, safety, and quality compliance; serving as primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders; communicating with engineering, operations, finance, and regulatory teams; identifying and mitigating risks; tracking financial performance and ensuring cost control; and providing clear project reporting to leadership. Requires minimum 15 years in project management in regulated facilities, PMP certification, independent work capability, and willingness to work on-site (Amarillo, TX) with travel/relocation as required. On-site presence is required; roles involve interaction with nuclear/regulated environments and cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of project management experience, preferably in nuclear, energy, chemical, or other highly regulated industrial facilities
- PMP certification required
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently with minimal oversight
- Proven experience managing full project lifecycle ownership with assigned budgets
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, including budget development and cost control
- Direct experience working in highly regulated environments
- Superior communication skills, with the ability to converse confidently and professionally with senior project management peers and technical stakeholders
- Must be willing and able to work on-site in Amarillo, TX
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
- Willingness to travel or relocate as required
