Job Summary
Manage Millwork and Metal projects from planning through closeout, overseeing shop drawings, manufacturing, and installation to ensure adherence to design intent and contract documents. Direct project budgets by regularly submitting workload and budget analysis reports, comparing contract documents to bid proposals, and approving invoices after reviewing install bids. Coordinate with Engineering, Sales, and Installation teams to address issues, attend weekly production meetings, and review material schedules for long lead times. Monitor on-site progress through regular site visits, manage subcontractor bids, and execute change orders while maintaining the ERP system. Travel to out-of-town projects as necessary and assist in training new project managers.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in project management/general contracting
- Experience with Metal or Millwork or both
- General construction experience
- Ability to read architectural drawings
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 5 years of Project Management experience
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer experience with commercial projects
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field
- PMP and/or comparable project management certifications
- At least 7-10 years of General Contracting experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
