Job Summary
Manage Millwork and Metal projects by directing activities, maintaining budgets, and ensuring shop drawings align with design intent and contract documents. Submit monthly SOV billings, workload analyses, and POC schedules to Accounting and COO while reviewing material and project schedules for cost impacts. Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and the Installation team to address issues, attend weekly production meetings, and request subcontractor bids. Monitor site progress, approve invoices, execute change orders, and keep the ERP system current. Travel to out-of-town projects as needed and assist in training new managers.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in project management/general contracting
- Experience with Metal or Millwork or both
- General construction experience
- Ability to read architectural drawings
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 5 years of Project Management experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer experience with commercial projects
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field
- PMP and/or comparable project management certifications
- At least 7-10 years of General Contracting experience
