Job Summary
Supervise overall financial health of projects by developing projections, allocating estimates into the financial system, and approving invoices. Lead Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers while providing job assignments and training. Function as main point of contact with the owner and on-site representative to resolve site concerns, handle change orders, and obtain necessary approvals. Maintain schedule and budget while managing quality, risk, safety, and compliance. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction or Engineering, a current driver's license, and ten years of experience with large projects over $20M. The position involves up to 100% travel and is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan. Base pay ranges from $158,900 to $238,400, with higher adjustments for Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, and Washington D.C.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent experience
- Current driver's license
- Basic understanding of construction law and business practices
- Ability to travel up to 100%
- Ten years of construction management or related experience with large projects ($20M+)
- Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status
