Job Summary
Senior Project Manager at HSBC responsible for leading cross-functional, enterprise-scale transformation initiatives. Drive programme/portfolio strategy, influence budget and schedules, and oversee governance across multiple high-priority projects. Lead workshops to translate complex business drivers into operating models, manage change initiatives from design through execution, and ensure alignment with value-stream goals. Collaborate with senior leaders across Business, Technology, and Operations to deliver large-scale programs, monitor progress, and enable benefit realization. Maintain risk controls, stakeholder credibility, and continuous improvement through change-management activities, while embedding sustainable outcomes and adapting to evolving business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience designing, managing, and implementing large-scale, global/regional change initiatives
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional delivery teams and communicate complex information to stakeholders
- Strong program and project management skills with ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and issues
- Experience applying change management frameworks, design thinking, and business analysis to operating models and transformation programs
- Ability to influence senior leadership and align portfolio planning with strategic objectives
- Knowledge of risk and control taxonomy and governance requirements within enterprise settings
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement and decision making
- Ability to drive benefit realization and ensure adoption of changes across the organization
- Understanding of operating models, business architecture, and transformation methodologies
- Experience with quarterly business reviews, cost-benefit analysis, and portfolio prioritization
