Job Summary
Senior Project Manager, HR PMO at RBC in Toronto, responsible for managing HR Operations programs/projects within the HR PMO, overseeing processes across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring schedules and budgets are adhered to, and preparing status reports for senior leadership. Requires undergraduate degree and PMI certification, 5-7 years of leadership in large cross-functional programs, strong Agile/Scaled Agile delivery experience, robust stakeholder management, advanced communication and facilitation skills, detailed planning and scheduling, and financial program management capabilities including budgeting, forecasting, and vendor invoicing. Nice-to-haves include experience in HR technology (Workday, SAP) and prior RBC familiarity. The role emphasizes driving program outcomes, building partner relationships with senior leaders, and delivering measurable program objectives and key results across HR initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree
- PMI Certification (Project Management Institute)
- 5-7 years of experience leading large cross-functional program delivery
- Experience with HR projects (preferred)
- Demonstrated agile delivery experience and scaled agile
- Advanced stakeholder and relationship management skills
- Advanced communication and facilitation skills (verbal and written)
- Advanced planning and scheduling expertise (detailed program schedules)
- Financial program management experience (budget management, forecasting, cost-benefit analysis, vendor invoicing)
- Risk and issue management frameworks with transparent reporting
