Job Summary
Lead all aspects of hotel construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution from preconstruction through closeout. Manage and mentor Project Managers, Project Engineers, and field staff while serving as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and key stakeholders. Oversee subcontractor procurement, negotiations, and performance to ensure strict adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Drive risk management, cost control, and change order processes, coordinating closely with field leadership to maintain safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in commercial construction, with a strong focus on hotel/hospitality projects
- Proven track record managing ground-up hotel construction projects from start to finish
- Prior experience leading project teams and mentoring junior staff
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore or similar platforms)
