Job Summary
Senior Project Manager with PreK-12 project experience located in San Jose, CA, responsible for planning, coordinating, and administering major projects through all phases of development. Leads multiple projects, manages budgets and schedules, directs staff and consultants, fosters client relationships, and ensures high-quality design and construction documentation. Responsible for developing workplans, fee proposals, schedules, resource allocations, and supporting business development and pursuit proposals. Requires architectural degree with 10+ years of project-management experience, advanced Revit proficiency, and ability to oversee multiple project teams while maintaining design standards and sustainability principles. Office presence in San Jose with a hybrid work arrangement (3 days in office, Mondays and Fridays remote; Fridays half-days). The salary range is $132,103 - $197,608 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Architectural degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural project management and document production across all phases
- Proficiency with project management tools and architectural software
- Advanced Revit proficiency; familiarity with Bluebeam, BIM 360, and related tools
- Strong leadership, judgment, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage multiple clients, project managers, and complex schedules
- Excellent verbal and written communication for assignments to staff, consultants, and clients
- Ability to write and edit specifications
- Knowledgeable in daylighting, stormwater management, and commissioning
- Ability to market project capability through client interviews, public presentations, and professional publications
- Self-motivated with a drive to take on new challenges and support business development initiatives
