Job Summary
Lead highway planning projects for MTO and similar clients, managing the full project lifecycle from proposal to close-out. Oversee teams, sub-consultants, budgets, schedules, quality, and safety while delivering corridor planning, preliminary design, and bridge rehabilitation strategies. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff, fostering professional development within a collaborative engineering environment. Contribute to business development by creating capture plans and leading proposals to enhance client relationships. This role offers growth in project leadership, operations management, and staff management within GHD's Canadian Operations in Ontario.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in Civil Engineering
- Ontario P.Eng. designation required (or eligible)
- 10+ years' experience in design and engineering of transportation infrastructure projects, including project management experience
- Experience working with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with other highway agencies and municipal transportation clients
- Experience managing design projects in collaborative models (e.g. Progressive Design-Build, Alliance, CMGC)
