Senior Project Manager - Higher Education

Job Summary

Lead all phases of the design process while managing projects to ensure efficient execution within scope and budget. Direct project teams, validate scope, fee, and budget during contract development, and coordinate staffing resources with the Operations Director. Monitor construction administration, control risk by addressing client and technical issues, and review work for accuracy and document compliance. Manage projects using Deltek, complete work plans including schedules and costs, and provide ongoing communication through meetings and memos to clients, consultants, and contractors. Requirements include an architectural or interior design license, a Bachelor's degree, LEED GA within six months, and proficiency in Revit, BIM, and PMTK. This role supports Perkins&Will's design and execution standards in higher education.

Required Qualifications

  • LEED GA within 6 months of hire
  • Professional Accreditation in one area of Living Design that interests you: LEED AP with Specialty, BREEAM AP, WELL AP, SITES AP, Passive House Institute Certified Passive House Consultant/Designer CPHC/CPHD, or ILFI Living Future Accreditation
  • Architectural license or Interior Design license/certification
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or related discipline required

  • Advanced Revit
  • Conceptual modeling tools
  • Microsoft Office / Adobe Suite
  • Physical modeling tools such as 3D Printing and Laser cutting
  • Presentation tools such as InDesign and Photoshop

  • PMTK
