Senior Project Manager, Healthcare

Job Summary

Plan and lead projects over $25k in healthcare, hospital, and regulated environments by managing time, budget, and risk while maintaining onsite presence. Create master project schedules, establish budgets, and coordinate delivery dates and order sequencing. Verify jobsite conditions, schedule labor resources, and monitor installation work to ensure alignment with goals and timelines. Manage change orders, complete final walk-throughs, and oversee punch lists to guarantee 100% project completion. Drive timely invoicing and coordinate phased installations in occupied facilities to minimize disruption to patient care. This role supports Continua Interiors' mission to transform work, learning, and healing across the Midwest through furniture, walls, and AV solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven work experience in project management or project management support
  • Experience managing projects within healthcare, hospital, or other highly regulated environments
  • Understanding of healthcare construction, regulatory and operational requirements, including infection prevention and patient safety considerations
  • Experience working in occupied healthcare environments and managing the unique challenges associated with active patient care areas
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or an industry related field
  • Knowledge of commercial furniture solutions
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Monday.com
  • Experience with Enterprise resource planning (ERP)
  • Enthusiasm for learning new software programs
  • Excellent communication skills: Listens and gets clarification, responds well to questions, writes clearly and informatively
  • Demonstrate high-level analytical thinking expertise: thoughtful analysis and problem-solving skills, effective decision-making, and leadership competencies, execute tasks efficiently and calmly, lead completion of multiple tasks and deadlines, resolves conflicts
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills: collaborate effectively with project stakeholders, internal team members and vendor partners to manage expectations and ensure a positive client experience
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to remember the details of each project and scope of work
  • Occasional out-of-state travel
  • Willingness to travel when required

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience managing projects within healthcare, hospital, or other highly regulated environments highly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in business, communications, or an industry related field
  • Knowledge of commercial furniture solutions would be an asset
