Job Summary
Lead execution of complex Grid Automation projects involving protection relays, bay controllers, and telecom equipment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer satisfaction. Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and on-time delivery. Develop detailed plans, monitor critical paths, and control Earned Value to maximize variation orders. Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders to manage expectations and mitigate risks. Prepare regular status reports for senior leadership and conduct quality assurance audits. Requires 7+ years in energy project management, PMP certification, and ability to travel 20%. Remote position with salary range of $114,100 to $190,200.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the energy or Grid Automation sector
- Proven experience in managing complex, multi-faceted projects
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Jira)
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to travel to customer sites and offices as required by the project plan (around 20%)
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
- Experience with protection relays, bay controller units, auxiliary relays, and telecom equipment
- Additional certifications in Grid Automation or related technologies
