Job Summary
Lead execution of complex Grid Automation projects involving protection relays, bay controllers, and telecom equipment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer satisfaction. Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources while maintaining safety, quality, and scope control through detailed planning and Earned Value monitoring. Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to mitigate risks, oversee contingency plans, and deliver regular status reports to senior leadership. Report to key stakeholders including customers and end users, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Requires 7+ years in energy sector project management and 20% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the energy or Grid Automation sector
- Proven experience in managing complex, multi-faceted projects
- Ability to travel to customer sites and offices as required by the project plan (around 20%)
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
- Experience with protection relays, bay controller units, auxiliary relays, and telecom equipment
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification
- Additional certifications in Grid Automation or related technologies
- Strong leadership and team management skills
