Job Summary
Initiate, plan, and implement assigned projects from initiation through implementation using standard work and established project management processes. Lead cross-functional project teams, including colleagues in remote locations, while building project plans supported by relevant analysis, timelines, risks, and implementation plans. Prepare and present project updates and report-outs to leadership, ensuring projects are delivered on time and achieve desired business outcomes. Manage project scope, schedule, risks, and stakeholder expectations while driving alignment and efficiency across global teams. Coordinate subject matter experts and functional leaders throughout the project lifecycle, supporting global projects through travel when required up to 25% of working time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a science, technical, or business field
- At least 3 years of equivalent relevant work experience
- Proven understanding of project management tools and methodologies
- Ability to lead projects in a complex manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate across departments, business unit leadership, and Thermo Fisher divisions
- Ability to influence others and partner effectively across functions
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to build trust, credibility, and positive professional relationships with peers and management
- Fluent English
- Ability to travel globally up to 25% of working time
