Senior Project Manager, Global Logistics Operations

Job Summary
Own the global transportation function end-to-end, ensuring moves are delivered on time and cost-efficiently while resolving escalations outside standard hours. Lead a distributed team of logistics coordinators across time zones, assigning strategic projects and mentoring staff to drive departmental growth. Define and monitor KPIs and SLAs for on-time delivery, cost variances, and ticket response times to identify inefficiencies. Act as the primary contact for 3PLs and freight forwarders, negotiating contracts and pricing, while overseeing billing and invoicing. Forecast operational challenges, develop proactive solutions, and continuously optimize processes through training programs and cost strategies. Translate complex importation requirements for non-logistics stakeholders and foster synergy across production, finance, legal, and tax departments.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in transportation or logistics
- 3+ years of experience managing a team
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Fluent English
- Proven track record negotiating contracts and pricing with carriers, 3PLs, or freight forwarders
- Comfortable with ERP systems, Excel/Google Sheets, and data visualization to track KPIs and costs
- Strong ability to own shipments with tight deadlines while coordinating a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to translate logistics complexity for non-logistics stakeholders
- A strong sense of ownership over the transportation function and the department as a whole
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and managing across time zones and cultures
- Possible travel across our markets
