Job Summary
Senior Geotechnical Project Manager/Engineer in New Orleans, LA, leading client interactions, staff mentorship, and project leadership. Responsibilities include preparing technical reports, specifications, plans, geotechnical recommendations, and proposals; coordinating projects and billings; mentoring staff; expanding services to existing clients and developing new ones; supporting excavation designs and 3D analyses; logging borings and performing construction observations; managing multiple projects within budgets and schedules; strong communication and field coordination skills; and possession of a PE license with 10+ years of geotechnical experience. Some field work and valid driver’s license required. Office locations in New Orleans, LA and Phoenix, AZ are listed with in-person requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering
- Professional Engineer licensure
- 10+ years related geotechnical experience
- Experience with geotechnical investigations and construction inspections
- Field experience in earthwork, pile construction, load testing, backfill inspection, retaining wall design, excavation support system design
- Office experience with geotechnical reports and specification writing
- Software knowledge: gINT, Slide/SLOPE/W, PLAXIS, LPILE, GRLWEAP, MSEW, SHAKE
