Job Summary
Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects for university facilities, developing and managing project schedules, budgets, and resources. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards while leading and mentoring project teams. Manage client relationships, review and approve contracts, change orders, and invoices, and troubleshoot issues throughout the project lifecycle. Requires eight years of construction project management experience, a Bachelor's degree, and PMP certification. Salary ranges from $140,000 to $160,000 annually with comprehensive health benefits and 401(k) matching.
Required Qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience in construction project management
- Experience managing university or institutional projects in the $40M - $60M range
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and schedules
- In-depth knowledge of construction practices, codes, and regulations
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Experience with project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, etc.)
