Job Summary

Senior Project Manager in flood risk management and environmental resilience based in London. Lead delivery of a broad range of projects and programmes, typically £2m to £15m, across the project lifecycle. Responsibilities include project/programme delivery leadership, contract management under NEC PSC/ECC forms, financial management and project controls, health, safety, quality and environmental management, and stakeholder relationship building. Ability to develop teams, mentor junior professionals, manage multiple work streams, and communicate effectively with senior client representatives. Requires strong problem solving, analytical and numerical skills, planning and organisational capabilities, and familiarity with multi-disciplinary teams, procurement, and sustainability principles. Preferred experience in flood risk management/environmental outcomes projects, procurement and NEC contracts, and consultancy/client-side project management; familiarity with public sector organisations and a growth mindset.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree or HND qualification in a management, construction or infrastructure related subject, or equivalent experience
  • Professional affiliation, qualification or near qualified status with the APM, ICE, CIWEM, or similar professional institution
  • Project management certification (APM/PRINCE2/MSP)
  • NEC PM Accreditations or qualifications
  • CDM Awareness
  • Experience with NEC contract management suite (PSC and ECC)
