Job Summary
Senior Project Manager to build and scale the PMO and lead high-priority, cross-functional initiatives spanning Operations, Finance, Compliance, and Technology. Own framing through delivery, translate priorities into structured plans with defined scope and owners, run governance sessions, manage risks and decision logs, and communicate with executives. Requires 5+ years of strategic/operations experience, a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), and strong analytical, storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Remote within the US; base salary around $130,000+ with a bonus potential. Responsibilities emphasize building systems, guiding multi-department initiatives, and ensuring execution aligns with business outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience in business operations, strategic finance, business transformation, credit strategy, operations strategy, management consulting, chief of staff, investment banking / PE, or related role
- Proven track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional projects in complex environments
- Experience introducing structure to teams without formal frameworks
- Strong execution instincts with clear owners, clear timelines, and definitions of done
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to brief executives clearly under pressure
- Technical fluency to discuss with engineering leaders about scope, trade-offs, and timelines
- Mindset of strategic curiosity, composure under pressure, ambiguity tolerance
- Familiarity with BI tools, SQL, or financial modeling (preferred)
- Preferred: experience in auto lending or consumer lending
