Job Summary
Lead the selection, implementation, and optimization of enterprise finance platforms, specializing in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, OneStream, and BlackLine. Manage large-scale system implementations by overseeing vendor evaluations, contract negotiations, and critical path dependencies while driving process automation and data enablement across finance and IT teams. Partner with Finance, IT, and Executive stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions, ensuring successful adoption through stakeholder analysis and change management strategies. Operate in a hybrid delivery environment with a 6-month indefinite contract, reporting at $70-$85 CDN/hr C2C from Montreal, QC.

- Proven experience leading implementations of enterprise finance platforms, including: SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), OneStream, BlackLine, Other EPM, CPM, or financial close & consolidation tools
- Hands-on experience with system selection (RFP/RFQ), vendor evaluation, and contract negotiations
- Strong understanding of system integrations, particularly ERP-to-EPM and source-to-report architectures
- Deep understanding of end-to-end finance processes, including: Record to Report (R2R), Financial Close & Consolidation, Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting, Management Reporting & Analytics
- Expertise in identifying opportunities to standardize, simplify, and automate finance processes
- Ability to challenge current state processes and design optimized future-state operating models
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale, complex system implementations
- Strong command of: Project planning, dependencies, and critical path management
- Budget, scope, and risk management
- Vendor and systems integrator oversight
- Experience working in hybrid delivery environments (Waterfall, Agile, or SAP Activate)
- Skilled in managing multiple workstreams across business and technology teams
- Strong understanding of organizational change management principles
- Experience driving adoption through: Stakeholder analysis, Communications and training strategies, Business readiness and cutover planning
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills; able to communicate complex topics clearly
- Comfortable working with and influencing all levels of the organization, from executives to hands-on finance users
- Strong understanding of data as a strategic asset
- Experience enabling: Trusted financial data models, Improved data governance and controls, Self-service analytics and performance management
- Ability to bridge finance, data, and technology conversations
