Job Summary
Direct overall construction activities to achieve project objectives while managing budgets, production planning, and regional staffing. Supervise Project Managers, engineers, and field personnel to ensure schedules meet owner expectations and company policies are adhered to. Lead business development by monitoring bid opportunities and collaborating with owners, architects, and engineers to develop a project pipeline. Establish department standards with the VP, monitor profitability and overhead budgets, and finalize approvals for job budgets, subcontracts, and change orders. Ensure prompt billing, monitor subcontractor payments, and implement corporate safety and quality programs.
Required Qualifications
- B.S in Construction Management or Engineering
- minimum of 10 years of construction experience
- Experience with a general contractor managing projects or programs
- Ability to manage project and personnel simultaneously
- Knowledge of construction, design, cost reporting and cash flow management
- Computer skills, knowledge of Project Management, Scheduling, good communication and organizational skills

- Estimating and JOC proposal
- Advanced understanding of production methods, construction processes and supervision of people and projects
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
