Senior Project Manager / Estimator

Job Summary
Lead detailed quantity takeoffs, cost estimating, and bid preparation for heavy civil construction projects including roadways, utilities, water/sewer, and concrete infrastructure. Oversee projects from award through closeout, managing schedules, budgets, cost forecasts, and change orders while coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and internal field staff. Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, engineers, and municipal agencies to ensure safe, high-quality project delivery. Mentor junior estimators and project engineers while contributing to continuous improvement of estimating and project management processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in heavy civil construction
- demonstrated estimating and project management responsibility
- Strong understanding of roadway, utility, and concrete construction methods
- Proven experience managing multiple projects and bid efforts simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with ownership, field teams, clients, and subcontractors
Desired Qualifications
