Job Summary
Senior-level project leadership role leading full project lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout for K-12, higher education, and municipal facilities in Texas. You will develop independent estimates, manage scope with incomplete information, and cultivate subcontractor relationships to staff $2–5M projects, with the ability to scale. The role emphasizes ownership and relationship-driven strategy over rigid processes, collaborating with school districts, municipalities, and university clients, and operating with platforms like Procore and Building Connected to drive procurement, budgeting, and margin management. The position is based in Texas (Round Rock/Austin) and aligns with an ESOP, ownership-focused culture, and a fast-growing, project-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven estimating ability — can produce independently from day one
- Established Texas subcontractor network — must be able to staff a $2–3M project immediately with trusted subs
- End-to-end project ownership: preconstruction through closeout
- Experience on commercial, public sector, or institutional projects (K-12, higher ed, municipalities, or general commercial)
- Deep Texas market knowledge and local roots
- Proficiency with Procore, Building Connected, or comparable platforms
- Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable building process, not just following it
