Senior Project Manager

Job Summary
Drive overall project flow from inception to completion, overseeing organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation while ensuring field teams adhere to standard operating procedures. Manage resources efficiently to deliver work within budget and ahead of schedule, maintaining full financial responsibility for projects. Coordinate subcontractor relations, resolve field problems, and select suppliers with input from engineering and estimating. Prepare budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking data while ensuring all document control, including permits and submittals, is completed efficiently. Attend walk-throughs, host meetings to review job progress and manpower, and inspect projects for compliance with safety codes and regulations. Collaborate with foremen on safety and closeout activities, escalate critical issues to leadership, and commute to field locations as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum 3-5 years related experience in electrical construction or similar industry
- A bachelor's degree with an engineering or construction management focus
- Master's degree in related field
- Working knowledge of the construction industry and contract documentation
- Working knowledge of Federal, state, and city regulations and guidelines
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, (i.e. Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and other electrical, technical, or construction programs
- Familiarity with project management/document control software
- Familiarity with construction/financial software packages
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English
- Demonstrated ability to cooperate and collaborate with multiple levels of customer, employees, unions, government agencies, vendors and suppliers, and other contractor organizations
- Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise personnel
- Ability to build positive working relationships with multiple levels of employees, management, suppliers, and customers
- Ability to navigate around job site locations
- Ability to commute to field locations
- Must demonstrate integrity, honesty, professionalism and commitment to company values
- Must be self-motivated and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must have excellent organizational, communication, strategic, technical, analytical, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills
- Must have high standards of quality with attention to detail
- Must possess ability to manage and supervise personnel
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds
