Job Summary
Lead and manage IT infrastructure projects from setup to completion, ensuring objectives are met regarding timelines, costs, quality, and scope. Create and maintain project plans while independently defining work packages, coordinating estimations, and managing resources using classical, hybrid, or agile methods. Act as the central contact for customers, suppliers, and field service teams, monitoring risks, controlling budgets, and facilitating workshops. Prepare data analyses, decision documents, and lessons learned reports using tools like Jira and MS Project. Requires 6+ years leading IT infrastructure projects, IPMA Level D certification, and C1 German. 40% remote with up to 60% travel; based in Bonn, Germany.
Required Qualifications
- Completed degree in business administration, business informatics, computer science, or a comparable IT-related field
- Completed commercial vocational training or recognized IT vocational training combined with relevant professional experience
- At least 6 years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of common project management standards
- Project management certification, at least IPMA Level D or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of ITIL and service management
- At least 6 years of experience leading IT projects
- At least 6 years of experience in IT projects focused on infrastructure, communication technology, and migration of IT systems
- At least 4 years of experience as a project team member in IT projects with a focus on data center infrastructure
- At least 6 years of practical experience as a project manager using classical, hybrid, or agile project management methods
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira or comparable tools
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Practical knowledge of MS Project
- Experience in budget control, resource planning, project reporting, risk management, and change management
- Experience coordinating suppliers, operations teams, customers, and technical service teams
- Experience preparing decision papers, project plans, effort estimations, and service descriptions
- German: C1 level according to CEFR
- English: B1 level according to CEFR
- Willingness to travel as required by the project
- Willingness to undergo a possible security clearance process

Desired Qualifications
- ITIL Foundation certification or proven practical experience in service management is desirable
