Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of assigned projects from initiation to closing, supervising resources to deliver value while ensuring safety compliance, schedule adherence, and budget control. Manage installation strategies and subcontractor/vendor performance to execute industry best practices within a holistic risk and safety management program. Align business objectives with corporate operational processes to drive timely delivery of safely completed work that exceeds quality expectations. This role requires overnight travel and involves work in both indoor office and construction environments, including operating equipment like scissor lifts and working in confined spaces.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Project Management or Construction Management
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience managing structured cabling and integrated systems projects
- Experienced in the management of multiple contractual types and vehicles-lump sum, cost plus/GMP, unit price, design-build/design-assist, time, and material
- Must be able to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required to do so
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet
- Must be able to work in tight and confined spaces
- Must be able to sit
- Must be able to use hands and arms
- Must be able to perform verbal communication
- Must be able to perform occasional physical movement such as stooping or kneeling
- Must be able to frequently stand and walk
- Must be able to promote company Core Values
- Must be able to align business objectives, strategically plan, and proactively allocate appropriate resources
- Must be able to manage assigned projects in accordance with a schedule
- Must be able to effectively manage subcontractor/vendor performance
- Must be able to manage installation strategies
- Must be able to identify change events and implement change management best practices
- Knowledge of various construction technology platforms, quality, and safety standards
- Must be able to travel as required by E2 Optics
- Must be able to follow safe work practices
- Must be able to adhere to company and client worksite safety policies and procedures
Desired Qualifications
- BICSI RCDD, BICSI RTPM, or PMP
- Other BICSI Certifications are a plus(Installer, Technician, etc.)
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
