Job Summary
Direct engineers and designers on planning and design projects, acting as the design task leader for roadway and drainage infrastructure initiatives. Lead the development of hydrologic and hydraulic models, including RAS-2D and FLO-2D, while preparing plans, specifications, estimates, and technical reports for design-bid-build and design projects. Oversee analysis of hydraulic structures and surface or subsurface flow systems, coordinate drawing changes with project team leaders, and manage cost estimates and quantity takeoffs. Participate in client marketing meetings to identify new opportunities and assist with business development and proposal creation. Requires a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona or Nevada, a B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering, and 15+ years of project management experience, including relevant ADOT project exposure.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license, AZ and/or NV
- B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 15+ years of experience in project management
- Relevant ADOT project experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong engineering judgment and a solid background in water resources projects
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Oracle-based ERP Project Financial Reporting System

- Certified floodplain manager (CFM)
