Job Summary
Facilitate communication and manage stakeholders including facility staff, contractors, design professionals, and regulatory agencies. Prepare written reports, presentations, and meeting minutes regarding project status, risks, schedule, and budget. Support projects through planning, design, permitting, construction, commissioning, and closeout phases. Review and coordinate RFIs, submittals, schedules, change orders, and pay applications. Manage field activities to ensure work meets project requirements, schedule, and quality expectations. Monitor project budgets, schedules, risks, and overall performance. Coordinate with teams to resolve constructability, schedule, cost, and operational issues. Maintain project reporting, logs, and document controls while monitoring project risks and potential impacts. This role supports one of the largest healthcare programs in the country within Sacramento, CA. The employer is a privately owned, fastest-growing construction management consultancy serving federal, education, and commercial sectors.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in construction project management
- Prior experience with HCAI/OSHPD healthcare projects
- Strong understanding of construction administration, project controls, cost management, and scheduling
- Strong experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire, life safety, and central utility infrastructure systems
- Experience reviewing RFIs, submittals, schedules, and change orders
- Advanced Microsoft Excel user
- proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
