Job Summary
Serve as the primary client contact for planning, execution, and delivery of assigned construction projects, balancing stakeholder needs while maintaining long-term relationships. Establish project objectives, procedures, and performance standards, then accurately forecast costs and manage subcontractors and material procurement. Lead internal and client meetings to coordinate action items, manage administrative items such as RFIs and submittals, and direct project team members. Perform project closeout and cost reconciliation, implement lessons learned for continuous improvement, and mentor assistant project managers. This role requires extensive electrical industry experience, proficiency with MS Project, Primavera, Procore, and Accubid, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Electrical industry experience
- Minimum of 15 years of experience managing construction projects
- Experience with successfully managing contracts greater than $10M
- Demonstrated understanding of civil, architectural, mechanical, and general construction techniques
- Team leadership experience
- Minimum of 10 years of personnel management experience, including mentoring of team members
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Microsoft 365, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proficiency with project management software – specifically, MS Project, Primavera (P6), Procore and Accubid
- Strong technical aptitude to learn and master company specific tools and programs
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
