Job Summary
Senior Project Manager for the Digital PMO will lead end-to-end planning and delivery of digitally-enabled workflow, hardware and software implementation projects focused on the Digital Patient Experience. Responsibilities include establishing business cases and roadmaps with stakeholders, mobilizing cross-functional teams, maintaining governance and controls (scope, schedule, budget, procurement, financials, value delivery), coaching and supervising PM staff, managing risks and issues, and overseeing vendor management and procurement. Projects may include Surgical eConsent, Integrated Bedside Technologies, Patient Wearables Integration, and After Visit Summary modifications, with emphasis on delivering outcomes for patients and families. Requires proven track record delivering large, complex programs, strong communication and change-management skills, and familiarity with healthcare IT implementations; advanced proficiency with office productivity, project management tools (e.g., MS Teams, Planner/Project, JIRA, ServiceNow) and stakeholder engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree in Health Informatics or Administration, Technology, Science, Business, or related field required
- Minimum 7 years Project Management experience required
- Minimum 5 years Program Management experience preferred
- Supervisory or managerial experience required
- Experience in formal procurement processes, contract negotiations, and vendor management required
- Experience with healthcare organizations and hospital information system implementation preferred
- Excellent budget management skills and proficiency in data analytics to support IT investments
