Job Summary
Senior Project Manager accountable for profitability and successful execution of projects, including client service, fees and proposals, scheduling, and coordination across engineering disciplines. Responsibilities include leading and mentoring designers, developing technical skills of subordinates, overseeing RFPs/SOQs/proposals, preparing labor estimates and fee proposals, ensuring code checks and zoning statuses are acceptable, timely submission of client documents, providing engineering oversight, coordinating with partners and project managers to manage budgets and client relationships, and maintaining documentation and invoicing accuracy. Requires a college degree in mechanical/electrical/architectural engineering (HVAC/building systems) with substantial project management experience and strong communication, leadership, and scheduling skills.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of experience as a Project Manager, plus a college degree in mechanical, electrical, or architectural engineering with an emphasis in HVAC, building electrical, or plumbing, or fire protection with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or a minimum of 10 years qualified experience without a degree.
