Job Summary
The Senior Project Manager – Data Center Tenant Fit-Out is responsible for managing day-to-day coordination and execution of data center tenant fit-out and customer deployment projects. The role includes providing mentorship to junior project managers, collaborating with internal and external partners, coordinating delivery of infrastructure, developing project schedules and budgets, tracking milestones, and ensuring compliance with operational standards. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 15+ years of experience in project management, particularly in data center construction or large-scale commercial projects. Strong organizational, communication, and detail-oriented skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience managing or supporting projects in data center construction, tenant fit-outs, mission-critical facilities, or large-scale commercial construction
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with project management and document control software is a plus (Procore, P6)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams including internal stakeholders, contractors, and customer representatives
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing customer-facing fit-out or tenant improvement projects within operational or shell data center environments
- Strong understanding of MEP systems supporting mission-critical infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling, and structured cabling coordination
- Experience supporting hyperscale, colocation, or enterprise data center customers
